Illness Fatal to Tyrone Woman 

  Mrs. Amanda Stonebraker of 1808 Columbia Ave., Tyrone, mother of Blair 
County Deputy Sheriff Frank L. Stonebraker, died today at the Wicker Nursing 
Home, Altoona, after an extended illness.
  She was born at Bald Eagle June 3, 1870, a daughter of John R. and Mary 
Stewart, and was married to Lewis Ward Stonebraker in February, 1885, at 
Tyrone.
  Mrs. Stonebraker was a member of the Columbia Avenue Methodist Church, 
Ladies Bible Class and the WSCS and Viola Rebekah Lodge and a charter member 
of the Bald Eagle Cemetery Association.  Mr. Stonebraker died in 1932.
  Surviving are two sons, Glenn R. and Frank L. of Tyrone;  a brother, Harry 
Stewart of New Jersey;  nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  
  Friends will be received at the home.
