Death of Samuel S. Stoner.

  At five minutes of 1 o'clock yesterday morning Mr. Samuel S. Stoner 
died at his parents' residence, No. 607 Ninth street, of cancer.  He 
was aged 22 years, 8 months and 12 days, and leaves to mourn their loss 
his parents, two sisters and one brother, the latter residing in 
Chambersburg.  The deceased was a member of the Chestnut Avenue 
Methodist Episcopal church.  He also belonged to Centennial castle No. 
204, Knights of the Golden Eagle.  His remains will be taken to Mt. 
Union for interment on day express to-morrow morning and the funeral 
services will be held in that place.
