Francelia Stonerook, 84, Box 120, Martinsburg RR 1, went home to be with the Lord early Wednesday morning, Feb. 12, 2003, at Homewood at Martinsburg after an extended illness. She was born May 22, 1918, in Roaring Spring, a daughter of the late Chester and Gertrude (Hann) Reffner. She married Paul T. Stonerook Aug. 8, 1934, in Hagerstown, Md. Mrs. Stonerook was an active member of Martinsburg Church of God. She primarily was a homemaker, but formerly was employed at Green Giant Cannery, Martinsburg RR 1. Mrs. Stonerook attended Roaring Spring-area schools. She enjoyed collecting dolls. Mrs. Stonerook was a former volunteer at Nason Hospital snack bar, Roaring Spring. Surviving are her husband of 68 years; six daughters: Doris A. Wagner (husband, Robert), Sandra K. Oakes (husband, Ronald), and Joan L. Mock (husband, Stephen), all of Martinsburg RR 1, Darlene J. Lang (husband, Paul) of rural Roaring Spring, Yvonne M. Rhodes of Martinsburg and Carol S. Myers (husband, Gary) of San Diego; a son, Wayne P. of Martinsburg RR 1; 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Clair Reffner of Middletown. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tracy L. (Stonerook) Donaldson; three sisters: Florence Kahley, Violet Yingling and Helen Reininger; and an infant brother, Paul. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at John C. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Martinsburg Church of God by Dr. Lew Button. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
