Saturday Samuel Stonerook died at the home of his son, George Stonerook, near Bossler station, aged 82 years, three months and seven days. For many years deceased lived near Henrietta, but for several years made his home with his son where at a ripe old age he departed this life. His funeral took place Monday morning, leaving the house at 10 o'clock. Services were held in Diehl's Cross Roads Church of the Brethren conducted by Rev. B. B. Wenger, pastor of the Church of God, assisted by Rev. Abram Metzler of the Mennonite church. Interment was made in the Stonerook cemetery near what his known as the Stonerook school house. His wife preceded him a number of years ago. Two sons and two daughters survive him: George of Bossler station, David of Hollidaysburg, Mrs. William Forshey of Hickory Bottom, and Mrs. A. R.
