Stover, 81, of Eden Hill Road, RD 1, Tyrone died Sunday, June 13, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. at Mount Nittany Medical Center. She was born August 6, 1922 in Claysburg, a daughter of the late John Edgar and Elsie Jane (Hainsey) Bailey. On August 20, 1948 in Marklesburg she married John E. Stover. He died December 6, 1991. Surviving are two sons, Lee R. and wife Rosemarie of Warriors Mark, Eric A. and wife Treasure of Terry, Mississippi and four grandchildren, Philip Stevens, Daniel, Erin and Evan Stover. She was the last of her immediate family being preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters and a daughter-in-law Diane S. Stover. Mrs. Stover retired in 1966 from the Tyrone Hospital as a Registered Nurse. She had attended the Altoona School of Nursing. She enjoyed crocheting, being with her family and her home on the farm. Private graveside services will be held Thursday, June 17, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Dry Hill Cemetery, Woodbury with Rev. Warren MacEachern officiating. Friends will be received at the Feller Memorial Home today and on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial gifts may be made to the Tyrone-Snyder Public Library, 1000 Pennsylvania Avenue, Tyrone, PA 16686.
