DIED.

  On the 1st ultimo, at his residence in Tyrone City, Mr. Jacob 
Straighthoof, aged 68 years.
  The dec'd has been a citizen of this neighborhood for over thirty 
years; and his large family of children, in his death have lost a kind 
and very indulgent parent, and the citizens an excellent neighbor.  We 
believe he has long been a member of the Lutheran Church.
