SUSAN STRAWMIER Died at her residence, 414 Second avenue, at 9 o'clock Saturday evening, after having been ill of convalvulus for several months. An operation for the sufferer's relief was performed by Drs. W. M. Findley, J. E. Smith and A. L. Feltwelt. Saturday another operation was performed. Deceased was born in Chest Springs, forty seven years ago. She was married January 11, 1876, to Nicholas Strawmier, who with three children survive her. The children are Joseph, Thomas and Mary One brother and five sisters are also yet living. These are James Henry of Pittsburg, Mrs. Mary Dignan of Gallitzin, Mrs. Alice Fultz of Chest Springs, Mrs. Bridget Weakland of Ebensburg and Mrs. Katharine McKenzie of Altoona. Solemn high mass will be celebrated over the remains at 9 o'clock a.m. tomorrow, in St. Mark's church, after which the interment was made in St. Mary's cemetery. Altoona Mirror, November 18, 1895
