JENNIE D. STRAYER

  Mrs. Strayer, 91, of East Freedom, RD 1, died at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, 
Nov. 23, 1991, at her residence, following an extended illness.
  She was born Oct. 21, 1900, in East Freedom, the daughter of Adam and 
Mary (Haire) Feather, and married William McKinley Strayer, who died 
Jan. 30, 1977.
  Surviving are six children:  Lena Finnegan, Charles, Jacob and Sally 
Lingenfelter of East Freedom RD; Edna Allison of Osterburg RD and 
William Jr. of Imler RD; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
  Also surviving is a sister:  Mary Martha Ritchey of East Freedom.
  Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson 
Funeral Home, Roaring Spring.

STRAYER - Services for Jennie D. Strayer of East Freedom RD 1 will be 
held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, by 
the Rev. Charles F. Rhodes. Interment at Greenfield Cemetery. Friends 
will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral 
home. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Daisy Brubaker, Dec. 
2, 1975, and Violet Marie in 1926.
