Frank Pierce Strickland died at the Blair county hospital at 5:30 o'clock Saturday evening, of apoplexy. Deceased was born August 30, 1852, and is survived by three sons and four daughters - J. F., of Juniata; S. J., of Perkersburg, W.Va.; F. I., in France; Mrs. E. L. Foster, of Conemaugh; Mrs. G. M. Culp, of Schellsburg; Mrs. Thomas McOnagle, of Latrobe, and Mrs. Dowell Kinzley, of Cleveland. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Oscar Miles, of Milesburg, and Mrs. Jeffries McCallon, of Howard. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and the Odd Fellows of Snow Shoe. The remains may be viewed at the chapel of Roher & Mauk, Juniata, any time before Wednesday noon. The body will be taken on Lehigh express, Wednesday noon, to Milesburg for interment.
