  John E. Strong, a well known resident of Juniata, died last night at 
the home of his son-in-law, W. I. Sanderson on West Ninth street, 
Juniata.

  The funeral service for the late John Strong will be held this 
afternoon at his late residence, 111 West Ninth avenue.  The service 
will be conducted by his pastor, Rev. Alexander Lamberson.
