Stroup, 61, of Pennington Road, Warriors Mark, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2003 at 9:15 a.m. at his residence. He was born October 22, 1941 in Tyrone, a son of Jon and Margaret (Hoover) Stroup. On March 28, 1967 in Ambridge, he married Elizabeth H. Bish. Surviving is his wife, three daughters, Megan Wagner and husband Don of Tyrone, Rachel Spigelmyer and husband Matt of Pennsylvania Furnace, Maureen Stroup of Tyrone; a son, Eric of Tyrone; four grandchildren, Alexa Spigelmyer, Haley, Payton and Jack Wagner. Also, his stepfather, Joseph Rozick of Tyrone; a brother, Steven Rozick of Pittsburgh; two sisters, Joleen Angus of Cromwell, Conn. and Janet Jo Pearson of Tyrone; and a special aunt, Ardrienne Dixon of Tyrone. He was preceded in death by his father, Jon, in 1942, and his mother Margaret Rozick in 1997. Mr. Stroup was owner of Jon P. Stroup Sales Agency for over 25 years will offices first in Sewickley, before moving his business to Warriors Mark. He also had been an agent for the New York Life Insurance Company and was co-owner of I-99 Antiques and Payton's Gift Shop, both of Tyrone. He had been a member of the Army National Guard. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the Feller Memorial Home with Pastor TerryAnn Talbot-Moses officiating. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery.
