She was born Jan. 21, 1880, at Mapleton Depot, a daughter of James and Gertrude (Gettys) Gillam. She married Walter Study Oct. 27, 1909, at Tyrone with Rev. Furbay officiating. Mrs. Study was a lifelong resident of Tyrone. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church of Tyrone, Ladies' Aid and the Civic club. Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Edwin Woodring, jr., of Tyrone; one son, Samuel W. Study, at home, and one grandchild, Noreen Woodring of Tyrone.
