Study after a severe illness of eight weeks, during which time she was closely confined to her bed, died at half past four o'clock Monday morning, aged 60 years, 5 months and 3 days. Her husband, E. L. Study, died four years ago last January. Mrs. Study had been an invalid the last year, and during the past few weeks of her prostration suffered severely. She had been a consistent member of the M. E. Church since she was fifteen years of age. She was the mother of J. A., W. L., and C. A. Study of this place, the two former engaged in the general merchandise business and the latter employed in the Blair County Bank. Her three daughters living are, Mrs. P. A. Reed, of this place, Mrs. H. J. Cornman, of Altoona, and Mrs. H. L. Africa, who lives in Iowa. Mrs. Study was an estimable woman and will be sorely missed in this community, and especially will she be deeply mourned by the children, all now grown to womanhood and manhood, as memory recalls the many tender solicitations, loving cares, and motherly admonitions bestowed on them in their early lives, and to whose sterling virtues they owe immeasurable gratitude as honored members of society. The funeral services were conducted by Dr. J. S. McMurray at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon, after which the interment took place in the cemetery.
