Mr. John Stultz, an aged resident of the city, died at his home, 2524 Seventh avenue, yesterday afternoon, after a lingering illness, of dropsy. Deceased was born in Germany, Nov. 6, 1832, and had been a resident of the United States almost all his life. He came to Altoona nine years ago and was a consistent member of the Second Lutheran church. Besides his wife, he is survived by eight children, as follows: H. L., Duncansville; Mrs. Levina Myters, Houtzdale; Mrs. Charles Bell, South Fork; W. K. and J. C., of Altoona; Ida, at home; Mrs. Charles Rickabaugh, of this city, and James, of Pittsburg. The funeral will take place from the late home this afternoon at 3.30. Rev. A. E. Wagner, pastor of the Second Lutheran church, will conduct the services.
