MRS. MABEL E. SUMMERS 

Of 2704 Maple avenue, died at the Altoona hospital at 5.45 o'clock yesterday 
afternoon after seven months illness. She was born in Altoona Oct. 4, 1884, a 
daughter of Samuel M. and Mary (Myers) Hannah, and was married to Chester A. 
Summers Nov. 16, 1904, at Hollidaysburg. Surviving are her husband and these 
children, Chester, Alton and Kenneth, Miss Dorothy, Mrs. Winifred Richard of 
Altoona, and Jack of Phoenix, Ariz.; nine grandchildren, two great-
grandchildren, two brothers and one sister, Ray Hannah of Tucson, Ariz.; Walter 
and Mrs. Pearl Butterbaugh of Altoona. She was a member of the Evangelical 
Methodist church and the Loyalty Sunday school class. Friends will he received 
at the Replogle funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
