H. and Elizabeth Swartz, of 314 Second avenue, Lakemont, died yesterday morning at the family home after an illness of two years. She suffered from a complication of diseases. She was born in Altoona October 16, 1900, and was a student in the Curtin school previous to her illness. She was well liked by a large circle of friends. Surviving are the mother and three brothers: Ammon F., Edgar D., and Ernest S., all at home. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the parental home with services in charge of Rev. George F. Snyder, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran church, and Rev. C. S. Nonamaker, pastor of the Lakemont Church of God. Interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Tuesday morning, June 11, 1918, page 8
