Sweeny, of Allegheny City, died Thursday of general debility, after a long illness. The deceased was born in Indiana county and for some years had been a resident of this city, and for the last eighteen years had been living in Allegheny. The deceased was married in St. John's church, Altoona, about twenty-four years ago, to Annie McConnell. He is survived by four children, Mary, Thomas, Joseph and Annie; three brothers - Thomas, of Blairsville; William, of Indiana, and Edmund B. Sweeny, and four sisters - Mrs. W. L. Galloway, of this city; Mrs. H. J. Crouse, Mrs. O. C. Earle, of Blairsville, and Sister M. Teresa, of the convent at Ebensburg. On Saturday the body of the deceased was brought to the residence of Mrs. W. L. Galloway, of 814 Howard avenue. The funeral will take place this morning at 8.30 o'clock, to proceed to St. John's church, where at 9 o'clock services will be held. Interment in St. John's cemetery.
