Swisher died at his home, 2926 Pine street, of dropsy. He had been ailing eight years. Deceased was born in Perry county, February 17, 1840. For a number of years he resided at Coalport, but for the past two years resided in this city. He was a Methodist by faith and a member of the Grand Army of the Republic post at Coalport. He is survived by his wife and these children: Mrs. Annie Keohe, of Bellwood; Mrs. Jane Weaver, Mrs. Susan Hollis, Harry E., William R., Ida M., Bertha E., Myrtle, Eva and Jane, all of this city.
