Yesterday morning at 6 o'clock, after an illness of eighteen months, Rufus Sypes died at his residence, No. 1505 Eleventh avenue, of Hodgkin's disease, aged 23 years. He had been a brakeman in the employ of the Pennsylvania railroad company prior to his illness, and during the time that he was confined to the house had been a great sufferer. He was a married man and his wife is left to survive him. Religious services were conducted at the house last evening by Rev. E. Weigle, pastor of the First Lutheran church, and on seashore express this morning the remains will be taken to Everett, Bedford county, for interment.
