Taneyhill, of 3004 Sixth avenue, died at 9 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Dalske, of 414 Chestnut avenue, of congestion of the lungs. She was ill but a short time, and was born in South Hampton Furnace, Pa., on January 16, 1851, and was married December 24, 1863, to G. W. Taneyhill. She came to Altoona in 1876, and is survived by her husband and eight* children: Mrs. H. P. Diehl, Mrs. A. S. Johnson, Mrs. Rose Amos, Mrs. George Dalske, R. D., J. W., and George W. Taneyhill, all of this city. Two children preceded her to the grave. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Alice Benson, of Duncansville, and Mrs. Adeline McNulty, of Altoona, and thirty-one grandchildren. She was a member of the Simpson Methodist Episcopal church. The funeral services will be held from the Chestnut avenue home on Monday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock, in charge of Rev. V. T. Rue.
