MRS. SARAH L. TARR.

  Mrs. Sarah L. Tarr, wife of John B. Tarr, of 1530 Third avenue, died on 
Tuesday night of stomach trouble, from which she had suffered for several 
months.
  Deceased was born thirty-six years ago at Canan station, she being the 
daughter of Joseph G. and Margaret Burns, deceased.  She is survived by her 
husband and these children: Willie, Jeanette, Earl, Paul and Luther, and 
these sisters and brothers: Mrs. D. S. Kerr, of Altoona; Mrs. W. P. Ziegler, 
of Williamsport; Mrs. D. S. Gibboney, of Duncansville; Mrs. Robert Stiffler, 
of Cross Keys; Mrs. Edward Gamble, of Altoona; Mrs. Archie Carnahan, of Canan 
Station; J. Harris Burns, of Canan Station; Miss Cora Burns, of Altoona; 
Robert Burns, of Canan Station.  Mrs. Tarr was a faithful member of the First 
Lutheran church.
