MRS. RACHEL TEETER

Died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. P. K. Feathers of 500 Walton 
avenue, at 9.20 o'clock Saturday morning. She was born in Hyndman, 
Bedford county, on March 2, 1879, a daughter of Jacob and Barbara 
Shiffler. Her husband, Samuel J. Teeter, died five years ago. Surviving 
are these children:  Mrs. Feathers, Mrs. Vince Sarvis, Mrs. Ernest 
Courtney, Mrs. William Weaver, Carl, Lawrence, Harvey, Ellis and 
Seward, all of Altoona; these brothers and sisters:  Clarence Shiffler 
of New Castle, Mrs. W. R. Kegarise of Calhoun, Ill., Daniel and Charles 
Shiffler and Mrs. David Riley of Altoona. Mrs. Teeter was a member of 
the Twenty-eighth Street Church of the Brethren. Friends are being 
received at the Feathers home.
