All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ David Clark Templeton died at 2 o'clock this morning at his home at Cross Roads, near Arch Spring, where he resided with his brother, Alex. Templeton, and superintended the homestead farm. The deceased was taken away after only a brief illness. He was in Tyrone last Saturday. On Sunday he contracted a heavy cold which rapidly developed into pleuro- pneumonia and ended his demise. Mr. Templeton was 41 years and 7 months of age and had always resided in Sinking Valley. He was a devout Christian, long a member of the Arch Spring Presbyterian church. Surviving him are four brothers: Alex. Templeton, of Cross Roads; John K., Samuel B. and Chambers O. Templeton, of Tyrone. The funeral services will be held at the Arch Spring Presbyterian church at 2.30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, Rev. L. M. Lewis conducting the services, assisted by Rev. A. J.
