Templeton, former Tyrone resident and for the past ten years a resident of Pittsburgh, died suddenly at his home in Pittsburgh on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, following a day's illness with angina pectoris. John Orr Templeton was a son of the late Samuel B. and Alice Stetler Templeton and was born in Tyrone on May 27, 1883. On April 14, 1910, at Baltimore, Maryland, he was united in marriage with Miss Maude Shearer, who, with one sister, Mrs. Roy Bayer, of Tyrone survives. Mr. Templeton was a member of the Presbyterian church and the Free and Accepted Masons of Detroit, Michigan. He was a sales agent for the Electro-Pure milk processing machinery. The body was brought to Tyrone this afternoon and taken to the home of the sister, Mrs. Roy Bayer, 1065 Logan avenue, where funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock followed by burial in Grandview cemetery.
