He was born May 10, 1884, at Queen, the son of John and Elizabeth (Langham) Thomas. Surviving are his wife, Bessie Ruth (Conner) Thomas, and the following children: Mrs. Shirley Krause of Bellwood, and Roger Thomas of Roaring Spring; a step-son, Richard Conner, at home, and these brothers and sisters: George Thomas of Johnstown, Samuel Thomas and Gertrude Thomas of Claysburg and Bertha Thomas and Mrs. Mary Smith of Bedford. Mr. Thomas was a member of the Pennsylvania Railroad Relief society. He was a retired employe of the Pennsylvania railroad.
