Death of a Child.

  Betty Marie Thompson, little daughter of William G. and Nora Smith 
Thompson, died at the home of the parents, 2404 Fourth avenue, this 
morning at 1.15 of meningitis.  She was born in Altoona on April 5, 
1914.  The parents and two brothers, Samuel and William, survive.  
Brief funeral services will be held at the home Thursday afternoon at 
1.30 with Rev. J. Emory Weeks, pastor of the Simpson Methodist church, 
in charge.  The body will be taken to Williamsburg on the 4.35 train 
and further services will be held at the home of the grandparents at 2 
o'clock Friday afternoon.  Interment will be made in the Presbyterian 
cemetery at Williamsburg.
