He was born July 16, 1877, a son of William F. and Mary (Brady) Thompson, and in 1920 in Greensburg married Lucy Flading, who died in 1960. Surviving are the son and two grandchildren. Mr. Thompson was a member of the McKeesport United Church of Christ and a life member of the Phoenix Fire Company, Hollidaysburg. He retired as a carpenter in 1956. He was known to friends as Skitch. Friends will be received in the Haller Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, from 7 to 10 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. tomorrow.
