CATHERINE ALICE THOMPSON

Mrs. Catherine Alice Thompson, wife of Joshua C. Thomapson, died at 12:10 
o'clock yesterday noon at her home in Thomastown, a suburb of Tyrone, her death 
culminating from complications extending over a period of several years.  She 
had been bedfast since Friday last.  She was born July 22, 1852 at Howard, Pa., 
Centre County, and was united in marriage at Alexandria, Huntingdon County, on 
August 8, 1880 with Joshua Thompson, who survives, with the following 
children:  Mrs. Minnie Weierick and Mrs. Clara Rhodes of Tyrone, Mrs. Fannie 
Gates and Mrs. Lillian Daughenbaugh of Thomastown. A son John preceded her in 
death in 1916.  She also leaves one brother, William Monsell of Bellefonte, 
Pa.  She was a consistent member of the Methodist church.  Funeral services 
will be conducted at the home at Thomastown at 2 p.m., Tuesday, in charge of 
Rev. Ulrich.  Internment will be in Grandview cemetery.
