DAVID J. THOMPSON,

Died at 5 o'clock this morning, at his home in Newry, of pulmonary 
trouble.  The deceased was born at Newry and was aged about 51 years, 
and has been ailing for the past five years.  He is survived by his 
wife, Eliza Thompson and the following children: Mrs. Geo. Pringle and 
Edward Thompson of this city, Lizzie, Leo and Catherine, at home, also 
two brothers, John A., of Newry, and Frank J., of Pittsburg.  Funeral 
from his late residence on Thursday at 10 a.m., which will proceed to 
St. Patrick's Catholic church where mass will be held.  Interment in 
St. Patrick's cemetery.
