Thompson, died about three o'clock this morning, after a brief illness from consumption. Deceased was aged 22 years. She graduated with high honors from our public schools in 1888. Besides her father she leaves a brother and sister Max and Mollie. Funeral will take place on Monday afternoon. The services will be conducted by Rev. E. T. Swartz and the remains will be interred in the Lutheran cemetery. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., February 13, 1892 Contributors note: Ella May "Ellie" Thompson was a daughter to Thomas W. Thompson (b. 2 Feb 1842 d. 21 May 1889) and Susan McGraw (b. 20 Aug 1846 d. 13 Oct 1884). Brother Max was most likely John McGraw Thompson, born about 1874. John was employed by the Southern Pacific RR. Sister Mollie born Mary K. Thompson was born 30 Jul 1876 and married first to Jesse Henry Price (b. 27 Feb 1876 d. 18 Jul 1951). She was married again to Harry Oliver Cady (b. 18 Jul 1873 d. 31 Oct 1950). Mr. Cady was employed by the California Fruit Growers Express, one of the first shippers to use refrigerated rail cars. Mary K. Thompson died 4 Apr 1960.
