She was born in Canoe Valley about seventy-seven years ago where she spent her entire life until about ten years ago when she moved to Alexandria. Her husband, John A. Thompson, preceded her to the grave a few years ago. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Walter Geesey of Sunbury, Pa., also surviving are two brothers, John Harnish of Florida and Joseph Harnish of Alexandria. Funeral service Thursday morning at 10:00 o'clock at the late residence with internment in the cemetery at Canoe Valley. Daily News, Huntingdon, Pa., June 5, 1929, page 5
