HENRIETTA THOMPSON Of 809 Twentieth street, died at Mercy hospital last evening at 7.30 o'clock after a brief illness, Dr. Daniel M. Replogle, coroner, said. She was born in Cambria county Jan. 22, 1882, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Carnell and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic church. She was first married to Edward A. Miller, who preceded her in death as did her second husband, Charles Thompson. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Frances Eichenlaub of Coupon; one son, Edward E. Miller of Altoona; the following stepchildren: Gerald Thompson of Altoona, Eugene of Newry, Lester of Roaring Spring, Walter of Washington, Regis of Altoona, Mrs. Margaret Brookbank of Portage and Mrs. Don Wertz of Altoona; 39 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the N. A. Stevens mortuary after 7 o'clock Tuesday evening. Altoona Mirror, 2 November 1948
