Thompson passed peacefully away after an illness of several months, of a complication of diseases at her home in the Rider block, East Tenth Street, Tyrone, Pa. Mrs. Ida May (Ginter) Thompson was born at Hopewell, Bedford County, in May, 1879. In 1900, she was united in marriage with John Henry Thompson, who preceded her to the grave a number of years ago. Surviving her passing away are these children: William H. Ginter of Harrisburg; Reuben R. Thompson of Tyrone; Mrs. Loretta D. Finn/Firm, of Albany, New York. One son, Paul Henry Thompson is dead. These grandchildren and brothers and sisters also survive: Dorothy E., Thelma P., and Allen R. Thompson of Tyrone; Frank Ginter of Williamsburg; George Ginter of Altoona, and Mrs. Susan Daugherty, of Harrisburg, Pa. Mrs. Thompson was a member of Methodist faith, a good mother and neighbor and had many friends who regret to hear of her passing away. Funeral services will be held at Fuoss and Glass Funeral parlors on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30. Interment in Grandview Cemetery, Tyrone, Pa.
