Thompson, of 2426 Sixth avenue, died of pneumonia at his home at 6 o'clock last evening. He had been ill only two weeks. He was born at Martha Furnace, April 4, 1852. He was married thirty years ago. For the past fourteen years he had been employed as a fireman at the Altoona silk mill. He was a member of the United Brethren church and the Stormstown and Tyrone lodges of Odd Fellows. His wife and two children survive. The funeral will be held at Martha Furnace, the body to be taken there at a time to be announced later. Thompson will be held with services at the late home at 7 o'clock this evening, to be conducted by the Rev. C. S. Parker, pastor of the First United Brethren church.
