Juniata St., Hollidaysburg, died at 8:50 a.m. today at her home after an extended illness. She was born in Hollidaysburg, a daughter of William F. and Mary Ann (Brady) Thompson. Miss Thompson was a retired employe of the Bell Telephone Company, with more than 30 years of service, and was a member of the Pioneers of America of the Bell Co. and the Zion Lutheran Church, Hollidaysburg. Surviving are a brother, Calvin Roller Thompson; a cousin, Mrs. H. O. Cady of Los Angeles, Calif., and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Creamer & Plank Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, after 7 p.m. Friday. 12-13-59 _____ THOMPSON, Clayanna, 1933 Miss Clayanna E. Thompson Miss Clayanna E. Thompson died Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at her home, 709 South Juniata street, Hollidaysburg, following a nervous breakdown, which confined her to bed for the past six weeks. She was the daughter of William F. and Mary A. Thompson both deceased, and was born in the house in which she died. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran church. Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: M. Stehley, Midland, Pa.; William F. and C. Roller, Hollidaysburg; Mary J. and Besse, at home. Funeral service will be conducted at the home Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. by her pastor, Rev. M. Stanley Kemp. 6/18/1933 _____ THOMPSON, M. Staley, 1955 M. Staley Thompson A native of Hollidaysburg residing in Midland borough, O., died unexpectedly last evening in an East Liverpool, O. hospital. He was born Nov. 11, 1871 in Hollidaysburg, a son of William F. and Mary Ann (Brady) Thompson, and was a retired employee of Midland borough. Mr. Thompson was a member of the Phoenix Fire company in Hollidaysburg. His wife, the former Margie Hepburn, and a daughter preceded him in death. Surviving are one brother and one sister, C. Rollar Thompson and Miss Bess Thompson of Hollidaysburg. Friends will be received at the Creamer & Plank funeral home, Hollidaysburg, after 7 o'clock this evening. 4-9-55 _____ THOMPSON, Mary J., 1933 Miss Mary J. Thompson Better known to her friends in Hollidaysburg as Mollie, died at her home 709 Juniata street, at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon of a complication of disease after an extended illness. She was a daughter of William F. and Mary (Brady) Thompson, and was a lifelong resident of Hollidaysburg, dying in the house in which she was born. Surviving are one sister and three brothers, Miss Bess Thompson, C. Roller Thompson and William F. Thompson, all of Hollidaysburg, and Stehley Thompson of Midland. Miss Thompson was of the Lutheran faith. Funeral services will be held at the home at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon. Interment will be made in the Lutheran cemetery. 12/29/1933 _____ THOMPSON, William Finley, 1911 William Finley Thompson A well-known and highly esteemed resident of Hollidaysburg, died this morning at 8 o'clock, at his residence on East Juniata street, of a complication of diseases, incident to his advanced years. The deceased was aged 76 years at the time of his demise. By occupation he was a contractor and carpenter, which business he was engaged in for many years. For the past several years he has lived a retired life. Mr. Thompson had filled the office of assessor the Fourth ward for seventeen years and had served in council. He was a veteran of the Civil war, a charter member of the Phoenix Fire company and the Improved Order of Heptasophs. In politics, he was a democrat. Mr. Thompson was a quiet, unassuming and useful citizen and his death is a source of deep regret to his many friends in this community. He is survived by three daughters and three sons: Misses Clayanna, Mollie, and Elizabeth, at home: Messrs. William and Roller of Hollidaysburg and Mr. Staley Thompson at Gary, Ohio. The funeral services will be held at the late residence on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Lutheran cemetery. 11/2/1911 _____
