THOMPSON Of 206 Wayne St., Hollidaysburg died at her home at 10:30 a.m. yesterday after a brief illness. She was born in Mifflin Township, Allegheny County, in March 1891, a daughter of Augustus and Anna (Linkhower) Flading, and married C. R. Thompson of Greensburg. Surviving are her husband, one son, James C. of East McKeesport; two grandchildren, two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Elizabeth Bittner and Frank of McKeesport and Mrs. Nora Rutting of Washington, D. C. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg. Friends will be received at the Haller Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, after 7 p.m. today Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., May 17, 1960 Contributor's note: Lucy's grandfather Sephrian Flading's origins can be traced to Saxe Weimer, Thueringen, Germany.
