All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _______________________________________________ THOMPSON Mrs. Mary Jane Thompson, died at her home, 711 Second street, Juniata, yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock, after an illness covering the past five years, the immediate cause of death being apoplexy. She was born at Shade Gap, Pa., March 18, 1852. Surviving are her daughters, Miss Rosa at home and Mrs. C. H. Long of Wernersville, and the following sisters and brother: Mrs. George Doran of Burnt Cabins, Mrs. George Elliot of Akron, Ohio, Miss Rose Appleby of Santiago, Cal., and James Appleby of Shade Gap. She was a member of the Juniata Presbyterian church. Funeral services will be conducted at the late home, Wednesday morning at 10.30; burial in the Presbyterian cemetery at Hollidaysburg.
