Moses Thompson, one of the oldest residents of Blair county, died at half-past 11 o'clock yesterday morning, at his home in Juniata gap, Logan township. He was in the 80th year of his age, and by occupation was a farmer. He was a member of the First Presbyterian church, having united with that congregation about the year 1857, during the pastorate of Rev. A. B. Clark. His wife died about two years ago, and the children left to mourn his demise are Mrs. John Beck, of Altoona, and Samuel, Henry and Theodore Thompson. He was a good citizen and a kind neighbor. The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock from his late residence. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Friday, April 3, 1891
