Thompson, Reuben R. 

Reuben Russell Thompson, a life-long resident of Tyrone, Pa., died suddenly in 
Harrisburg, Pa. at noon on Monday, 2/14/1938 with death being attributed to a 
heart attack. Reuben Russell Thompson was born in Tyrone, Pa. 7/12/1902, a son 
of John H. and Ida May (Gunter) Thompson. On 7/28/1925, in Tyrone, Pa., he was 
united in marriage with Miss Elizabeth Smith. He is survived by his wife and 
three children: Thelma, Alan and Dorothy Thompson all of Tyrone; also one 
brother William Thompson of Harrisburg and one sister, Mrs. James Finn, of 
Albany, New York. He was of the Methodist faith, and his occupation was an 
automobile mechanic. Funeral services will be held at the Glass Funeral Home on 
Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock followed by burial in Grandview Cemetery in 
Tyrone, Pa.
