SUSAN WALLACE THOMPSON A guest at the Presbyterian home at Hollidaysburg, died at the home yesterday morning at 9.15 o'clock of pernicious anemia. Mrs. Thompson was born in Sinking Valley on May 28, 1846, and was a daughter of Robert P. and Nancy Hoover Wallace, both deceased. Her husband, D. M. Thompson, died at Tyrone in 1916. She was for a long time a resident of Duncansville where her husband was connected with the Portage Iron works, later moving to Tyrone. She has been a member of the home since July 19, 1928. Mrs. Thompson was a fine Christian woman and prominent in Presbyterian church work. At the time of her death, she was a member of the Second Presbyterian church of this city. Mrs. Thompson is the last member of her immediate family and is survived by a number of nephews and nieces. The body was removed to the Graham funeral parlors at Tyrone. The funeral services will be held from the parlors tomorrow afternoon at 2.30 o'clock and will be in charge of Rev. Walter K. Harnish of Arch Spring, Rev. Dr. H. R. Stiles and Rev. E. Lansing Bennett of this city. Interment will be made in the Grandview cemetery at Tyrone. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., June 3, 1929
