Tillard died at the Blair County hospital at 5 o'clock yesterday morning. He had been under treatment for mental feebleness following a stroke of paralysis. He was born in Logan township, November 20, 1857. His wife died several years ago, but he is survived by the following children: Mrs. May Oakwood, of Juniata; Viola, of Mansfield, O., and Raymond, William and Margaret. One brother, Chief of Police J. N. Tillard, of this city, and one sister, Mrs. Alice Shearer, of Lock Haven, also survive. Private services will be held at the N. A. Stevens funeral chapel at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, followed by interment in Oak Ridge cemetery.
