  Mrs. Catharine Tinkerhoof, mother of Mr. Albert Tinkerhoof, of Gaysport, 
died at the residence of her son and only child on Thursday evening, from 
cancer of the breas, which only developed itself last spring.  The deceased 
lady was 74 years of age, was born and resided all her life, excepting the 
last year, in Juniata township, Blair county.  She was for many years a 
consistent member of the Newry Catholic church, to which place her remains 
were taken on Sunday morning and after the usual church services were lad in 
the church cemetery.  May she rest in peace.
