GEORGE TIPTON

Well known Greenfield township farmer, died this morning at 6.30 
o'clock at the Nason hospital, Roaring Spring, death being attributed 
to a complication of ailments. He was born at Claysburg on March 27, 
1862, a son of Levi and Barbara (Walters) Tipton. Mr. Tipton was never 
married and followed farming all his life until retiring. Surviving are 
these sisters and brothers:  Mrs. Lloyd Walter of Blue Knob, Mrs. Susan 
Musselman of Klahr, Martin Tipton of Claysburg and Jacob Tipton of 
Somerset. He was a member of the Reformed church at Claysburg.
