Mrs. Barbara Titze, wife of Herman Titze, died at her home, 2305 Fourth avenue, at 7.30 o'clock last evening, of a complication of diseases after an illness covering a period of several weeks. Deceased was born in Wetzlar, Germany, on August 26, 1842, came to American in 1883, and for a number of years had made her home in this city. She was a member of St. James' German Lutheran church, was highly esteemed in the community in which she lived and by a wide circle of friends among the German residents of the city. She is survived by four daughters: Mrs. H. Ricktemwald, Mrs. M. Hauser, Mrs. F. Lang and Mrs. A. Winkler, of Altoona. She is also survived by one brother and a sister in Germany.
