Toner died at the hospital at 9.06 a.m. yesterday of injuries he received in an accident that happened two weeks ago. He was employed by Bloomhardt & Price and was thrown off one of their horses at Greenwood farm. His injuries were of an internal nature, and after being taken to the home of his parents, 1007 Sixteenth street, he grew worse. On Sunday he was admitted to the hospital for treatment, but peritonitis set in, finally causing his death. The deceased was the son of George and Sarah Toner, and was born in Altoona, March 5, 1892. Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, George and Willie, and one sister, Mary, all at home. Funeral services were conducted at the home last evening at 8.30 o'clock by Rev. Allan Sheldon Woodle. The remains will be taken to Milton, Pa., on seashore express this morning for interment. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Wednesday, August 9, 1899
