CATHERINE TRACKSLER Mrs. Catherine Tracksler, wife of Jacob Tracksler, of 720 Logan avenue, died at 11 o'clock last night at her home, after an illness of one year. She was born in Alsace Loraine, Germany, September 15, 1868, and came to this country when very young. She was wedded in New York, where she located first, to Charles Walker, who died sixteen years ago. Four children were born to this union. One, Charles, jr., dying in infancy. She came to this city in 1901 and in 1902 was married to Jacob Tracksler, who survives with these children: Mrs. Frank Zumsteg, Frederick W, and Mary Catherine Walker, both at home; Rosina, Albert and George Tracksler, all at home. [sic] Four brothers, one in New York and the others in the Fatherland, also survive. Mrs. Tracksler was a consistent member of the Emmanuel Evangelical church, where funeral service will be held at a time to be announced later. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Wednesday Morning, November 29, 1916 FUNERAL NOTICES Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Tracksler, of 720 Logan avenue, will be held tomorrow afternoon. At 2 o'clock the cortege will leave the home and proceed to Emanuel Evangelical Lutheran church where services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock, followed by burial in Rose Hill cemetery.
