Treaster, 82, of Grazierville, R.D. 4, Tyrone, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 1995 at 3:30 p.m. at the Nittany Valley Rehabilitation Hospital, Pleasant Gap. She was born Sept. 6, 1912, in Tyrone, a daughter of the late Albert and Minnie B. (Thompson) Weierick. On Nov. 5, 1930, in Tyrone, she married Clay I. Treaster, who preceded her in death on April 18, 1993. She is survived by one son, Robert L. Treaster, R.D. 4, Tyrone; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Clay Treaster, Jr., and by two sisters and three brothers. She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church Tyrone. She was also a member of the Women of the Moose, AARP, the Tyrone Hospital Auxiliary, and was a Girl Scout Leader for many years. Eva was a member of the Snyder Township Election Board serving as Majority Inspector since 1949. She was also part owner of Bob's Cradle Restaurant, Canoe Creek, from 1963 to 1978. Funeral services will be held Wed., March 1, 1995 at 2 p.m. at the Feller Memorial Home with the Reverend Dennis Reedy officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., February 25, 1995
