Treese of Paulding, O., died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. E. Clifford, 2725 Maple avenue, yesterday afternoon at 3.45 o'clock, death being due to uremia. Mrs. Treese was born at Royer on May 27, 1849. She was married twice, her first husband, J. M. Kane, having died thirty-one years ago. To this union, six children were born, four of whom survive: Mrs. Ella Flaig of Williamsburg, Mrs. Cora E. Myers, Mrs. Frances H. Wagerman and Mrs. Adda E. Clifford of this city. In 1897 she was married to William K. Treese of Paulding, O., who survives. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. S. C. Wertz, J. M. and E. Nepper of this city, A. M. Nepper of Juniata, B. S. Nepper of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. L. M. Brumbaugh of Shy Beaver, Mrs. A. M. Lykens of Newry, Mrs. F. Mosel of Hollidaysburg, Mrs. Levenia Isenberg of Williamsburg and C. E. Nepper of Jewett, O. Mrs. Treese was a very kind and devoted wife, loving mother and life long faithful member of the Methodist church. The remains may be viewed at the N. A. Stevens mortuary at any time. Interment will take place in the Clappertown cemetery following service, which will be held in the Clappertown church Monday afternoon at 1.30. The funeral party will leave this city of the 10.22 morning train and will go to Clappertown by way of Williamsburg.
