BENJAMIN F. TREESE

Of 2624 Fifth avenue, died at 2.15 o'clock this morning in the Altoona hospital, 
where he was admitted yesterday afternoon, after an extended illness.  He was 
born at Royer Feb. 1, 1873, a son of James and Agnes (Robinson) Treese.  Mr. 
Treese was employed as a brakeman in the Altoona yard, retiring in 1935 
following a disabling accident.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lillie (Hogemyer) 
Treese, one son, John D. of the city; two grandchildren, one brother and one 
sister, Wilbur Treese and Mrs. Ruth Beck, both of the city.  Mr. Treese was a 
member of the Trinity Evangelical and Reformed church and of the B. of R.T.  
Friends will be received at the Laughlin funeral home after 7 o'clock this 
evening.
