BEVERLEE H. TREESE

  Mrs. Beverlee H. Treese, 79, Altoona, died Thursday morning, Jan. 1, 
2004, at Altoona Hospital after a brief illness.
  She was born April 9, 1924, in Loop Station, daughter of John A. and 
LaRue (Shaw) Hayes. She married L. Richard Treese May 10, 1946, in 
Philadelphia. He died Dec. 30, 1999.
  Mrs. Treese was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Hollidaysburg.
  She had been employed as a secretary to Attorney John Klepser and 
also worked with her husband at Lloyd's Pharmacy, Bellwood, and 
Belltree Pharmacy, Altoona.
  Mrs. Treese was a 1942 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School.
  She was a member of Bellwood Chapter of BPW and Col. John Proctor 
Chapter of DAR.
  Surviving are a son, N. Richard Treese of Altoona; and a daughter, 
Jeannine Treese of Altoona.
  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Plank, Stitt and 
Stevens Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, by Pastor Scott Custead. Interment 
at Alto-Reste Cemetery.
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Plank, 
Stitt, & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg.
  The family requests that donations be made to Zion Lutheran Church 
Memorial Fund or American Diabetes Association.
